A bicycle is only part of the story. It is the smile at the handoff, the crew loading the trailer, and the rows of bikes waiting for their next chapter.

See the original postA bicycle isn't just a set of wheels. For someone without reliable transportation, it can mean easier trips to school, work, or the people they love.
We gather bicycles from generous neighbors in Southern California, repair them when needed, and help get them to children, families, and others across Baja California.

What seems like an ordinary bike to one person can be a powerful tool in someone else's day. It's about access, dignity, and getting somewhere with fewer barriers.
Help make it happen

Bikes for Baja is powered by people who show up: to pick up a bike, turn a wrench, load a trailer, or hand it over with a smile.
The crew does the work between the photos — the early pickups, the sorting, and the long drive south.
There’s plenty to do beyond turning a wrench: collecting bikes, sorting supplies, helping with logistics, taking photos, and connecting with local supporters.
